Enjoy a tropical paradise in Bolz Conservatory, a glass pyramid filled with exotic plants, bright flowers, a rushing waterfall, fragrant orchids and free-flying birds. We could sit around and chat in a tropical rainforest and pretend summer is already here, and maybe lunch after.

Donald County Park is a 775-acre park located in the Town of Springdale, southeast of Mt. Horeb off Highway 92, just seconds from where Jenny grew up! The park contains oak woods, intriguing rock outcroppings with scenic vistas and springs. Let's hike!

The International Crane Foundation in Baraboo, WI is the only place on Earth where you can see all 15 of the world’s crane species – and it's a beautiful, peaceful oasis. And they just went through a $10M upgrade. I can't wait to see it again, and to share it with others.

Eric "Spider" Vandeveld and his family live at the finish line of the 10K Bellin Run in Green Bay, so we have been regular participants for years - Mike in the handcycle division. A great event and a great excuse to see old friends. I suppose we should warn Spider, huh?

The Rules, Radtke's and sometimes Vandeveld's have rode the LeowStrong Bike Ride for more than 10 years. The event features 4 routes (6 mile, 25 mile, 50 mile & 100 mile) and meanders around Marinette, WI. We take the 6 mile family ride, and chat & snack along the way!

It's just not summer until you've canoed the Wisconsin River and camped on a sandbar.  Let's plan an overnight sojourn! We typically paddle near Boscobel, but I'm open to the Wyalusing stretch or any other. Planning will be a group affair, including dates and locations.

In honor of Mike and MikeFest, I'll return annually to Ottawa Lake to paddle and sojourn in August. Likely to camp out overnight Saturday, swap stories and eat barbeque- the rest we can play by ear. Reserving my site now, even if I change it later.
