The Quest for Dress Shoes

The first camp wedding I was invited to was Karen & Riley's in 1982. This was also the first wedding I ever was invited to. Anticipation for the event was sky high. Looking back I was pretty naive about such occasions. I did not own any dress shoes and I felt it was important that I buy a pair for the wedding. My friends helped me find a store in Barrington that sold shoes and I made the purchase just before the ceremony. This did provide a laugh and gives me a chuckle to think back upon the quest. If I could go back in time I would tell myself spend the money on a nice pair of socks and don't worry about what shoes you wear!
