Phantom Friends

It was the summer of 1977 that I started a journey upon a path that would have a profound influence on my life. This was when I first set foot at Phantom Lake YMCA Camp. I was a recent high school grad and hired to be a summer camp counselor. Did anyone a part of that camp staff team including myself have any inkling that I would one day become the director of this marvelous place? I would go on to be a part of the staff at Phantom continuously until early in 1996 and then return in 2005. It was a wonderful period of my life enriched by the many amazing friendships that took root over this time. Camp can be a magical community with a strong sense of family infused throughout its being. An added "bonus" to being a part of camp's family were all the camp-connected weddings that I was fortunate to be a part of. The gallery below includes photos from these Phantom-connected weddings. There were a few other camp weddings that I attended, but unfortunately do not have any photos from. On the other hand, there are some photos from camp weddings that I missed.
